Call for Volunteers: 8th Annual Ten Oaks Project Bowl-A-Thon

Calling all past and present Ten Oaks Project volunteers, Youth Advisory Committee members, campers, Project Acorn participants, camper families, boardies, friends, allies and community members!

Plans are under way here at the Ten Oaks Project, where we've been polishing our bowling shoes, buffering our bowling balls, and making plans to have the 8th Annual Ten Oaks Project Bowl-A-Thon be the best EVER!

We want your help! We want your spirit! And most of all, we want to reach out and collaborate with the community the Ten Oaks Project has built in eight years.

Here is a list of the areas we would love to have your help with:

Before the Bowl-a-Thon

• Collaborate with Strike Master Stu on a video blog leading up to the event
• Recruit prizes for the prize pile
• Help prepare and execute the half-time show
• Help prepare and deliver this year's adventure bowl
• Help get the word out and get your friends and family to join the facebook group, and follow Ten Oaks Project Tweets
• Put a team in and help raise money

The Night of the Bowl-a-Thon

• Receive participants at the door and help them find their way to the registration, shoes and their lane
• Run the registration table
• Run the prize pile
• Help with the spirit awards
• Assist photographer with team photos and release forms
• Face painting
• Run the arcade
• BOWL!

Once we have heard from you we will plan a volunteer team meeting so we can all create an action plan, gain a sense of familiarity and, best of alll, begin feeling the excitement!
