Capital Pride 2008: Live Your Pride is coming up soon and the Ten Oaks Project invites you to live your pride, Ten Oaks style!

All are welcome to join us for this year's parade where we'll boost up the Pride energy with camp songs, pride chants and much more!!  We'll also be available at the info fair after the parade so come and talk to us to find out more about the Ten Oaks Project's exciting new initiative, how you can send your child to camp or how you can support us. We'll also be able to answer your questions about how you can get involved as a bo
ard member, camp staff or volunteer.

UPDATE - Change from $10
Last month, we launched a new fundraising initiative - Change From $10.  Our goal was to reach out to have 300 people to donate $10 each to help us send 5 kids to Camp Ten Oaks this summer.  In a little over two weeks, we've raised over $2300 and are nearing our goal of $3000.

That's incredible!  Thank you to everyone who has donated thus far and to those who have helped connect us to new supporters.  We've come this far because of the generosity of 58 special donors.

This is our final plea.  If you haven't yet donated $10, now is the time to do so.   We're so close to our goal and can only reach it with your help.
Make your tax-deductible donation today.

Call For Board Nominations
The Ten Oaks Project is currently accepting nominations for individuals to sit on its 2008-2010

marketing and communications, fundraising, grant writing, donor relations, project
management, human resource management, and community development (in both Toronto and
Ottawa). Incoming Board members will be elected for a period of two years.

Nomination packages are available online and are due September 19, 2008.
