Youth Leadership CampfYrefly 2008

Exploring fYrefly
In July our Youth Advisory Committee co-chairs, Eva Comeau and Danielle Sutherland, along with Board members Sonja Prakash and Mark Schaan attended Camp firefly, an existing youth leadership camp at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. Taking some great lessons and experiences from fYrefly (including interesting workshops, fun games, and unbelievable talent showcase performances), we're super excited to get things rolling here.

Youth Advisory Committee - Looking for One More Youth
In September, we'll announce all the members of our Youth Advisory Committee but we're still looking for one more youth to ensure we can reflect the full diversity of the queer community here in the National Capital Region. Applications from trans-identified or male-identified youth are particularly encouraged. If you're a youth aged 16-24 or know of an awesome one, please contact Sonja Prakash at sonja@tenoaksproject.org.
